How did we pick these free scheduling tools?

We included only tools whose own site states a free plan, not just a trial. We ranked them by how much a solo professional can do for $0: event types, calendar connections, payments and integrations, then by how cheap and clear the first upgrade is. CrewCentral submitted through our submit form; we checked its site today and list it separately because it schedules staff shifts, not meetings.

Every limit and price comes from the vendor’s official page on October 17, 2026. See our methodology and the wider scheduling category.

What are the best free scheduling tools in 2026?

1. Cal.com Free: best free scheduling tool overall

Cal.com’s Free plan is free forever for individuals and “Everything you could need for scheduling as an individual.” It lists 1 user, unlimited event types and calendars, email and SMS notifications, 100+ app integrations, a mobile app and browser extension, Stripe and PayPal payments, two-way Salesforce and HubSpot sync and a 1-click import of Calendly events.

The first upgrade is Teams at $12 per user a month billed yearly (Cal.com says this saves 25%), with a 14-day free trial. Teams adds shared availability, round-robin, routing forms and removes Cal.com branding. Organizations is $28 per user a month billed yearly. Read the full Cal.com review.

2. TidyCal Free: best free plan for paid bookings

TidyCal’s Free plan is $0 forever and includes unlimited bookings, unlimited booking types, paid bookings through Stripe and PayPal, recurring and package bookings, date polls, your own booking page and one-click translation. It connects 1 calendar. Payments on Free carry a 1% platform fee on top of Stripe’s own processing fees.

Paid options: Pro at $12 a month, or $99 a year ($8.25 a month billed annually), with no platform fee and unlimited calendar connections. TidyCal also sells a one-time Individual Lifetime plan for $29 on AppSumo. Pick TidyCal if you sell sessions or packages and want to start for $0.

Calendly’s Free plan is always free and includes one event type, one calendar connection, one-on-one scheduling, a customizable booking page and the browser extension. One-on-one meetings are unlimited on every plan, including Free.

Standard is $10 per seat a month billed yearly, or $12 billed monthly. It adds unlimited event types, multiple calendars (6 in the comparison table), automations and reminders, and Stripe and PayPal payments. Teams is $16 yearly or $20 monthly per seat, with round-robin and lead routing. Enterprise starts at $15k a year. See the full Calendly review and Calendly pricing.

4. Zoho Bookings Forever Free: best free plan for Zoho and Microsoft 365 users

Zoho Bookings’ Forever Free Plan is “For solo users who need the fundamentals of scheduling software”: one user, online meetings, notification emails and reminders, and two-way calendar sync with Zoho, Google and Microsoft 365/Outlook.com. Zoho says it won’t ask for a credit card.

Basic is US$6 per user a month billed annually (US$8 monthly) and Premium is US$9 (US$12 monthly). Local taxes are extra. Pick Zoho Bookings when you already live in Zoho apps or want free reminders with Outlook sync.

5. Google Calendar appointment schedules: best free option if you already use Google Calendar

Google says that with a personal Google Account or Workspace Business Starter plan, you can create a single booking page so others can book time on your calendar. You set the duration, weekly availability, buffer time and maximum bookings per day. You create schedules on a computer, not in the Android or iPhone app.

Creating more than one appointment schedule, automatic email reminders, checking availability across multiple calendars and accepting payments need an eligible Google Workspace or Google One subscription. Use it if one booking page is enough and you want nothing new to install.

6. HubSpot free meeting scheduler: best free scheduler for a CRM

HubSpot’s meeting scheduler is part of Sales Hub, and HubSpot says you can get started with it for free, with no credit card required. It syncs with Google and Office 365 calendars, gives you a shareable booking link and an embeddable widget, and logs meetings to HubSpot’s CRM. The AI meeting assistant sits in the Professional and Enterprise editions of Sales Hub (we did not fetch those prices today).

Pick HubSpot if leads already live in HubSpot. Otherwise Cal.com Free gives you more scheduling for the same $0.

7. Doodle Free: best free tool for group polls

Doodle Free is USD 0 with no card needed, “For people who book the occasional meeting.” It includes one group poll, one booking page, one 1:1 and 3 basic sign-up sheets. Pro is USD 11 per seat a month billed annually with unlimited polls and booking pages and no ads.

Use Doodle Free for the occasional “find a time for eight people” poll, not as your main booking page.

Does Acuity Scheduling have a free plan?

No. Acuity says it “doesn’t offer free appointment scheduling at this time,” but every plan has a 7-day free trial with no credit card. Starter is $16 a month paid annually or $20 paid monthly, and Standard is $27 annually or $34 monthly. Acuity is worth paying for when you need intake forms and client payments in one booking flow.

SavvyCal also has no free plan: its pricing page offers a free try before you activate, backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee.

What about scheduling staff shifts for free?

Meeting schedulers book time with clients; shift schedulers build a team roster. CrewCentral, which submitted via /submit/, is the second kind: it combines hiring, onboarding, training and scheduling for restaurant, cafe and bar teams. Its site offers a free account for your team and a free schedule maker that lets you export a CSV or print all seven days free. We did not quote paid prices because we could not load a pricing page today. It is not ranked above because it is not a meeting booking tool.
