How does Fillout work?

Fillout combines a visual form builder, native database write integrations, and AI-assisted form generation in one product. The three systems work together: AI generates the form structure, the builder refines it, and native integrations route submissions directly to the destination database.

Form builder and design editor

Fillout’s editor supports 25+ question types including text, multiple choice, dropdown, file upload, date, rating, NPS, address, and payment. The Notion integration writes submissions as new database entries, with support for all Notion property types including multi-select, relations, and file uploads. Teams using Notion as an operations database — tracking leads, client intake, or project requests — connect their public-facing forms to Notion without Zapier.

AI form builder

Fillout’s AI builder generates a complete multi-step form from a plain-text prompt.
