What is Carrd?
The free tier is genuinely generous (three sites, no watermark), and the Pro Lite plan costs $19 per year — the lowest price for a custom-domain site among any major builder.
Carrd’s thesis is that most personal sites, pre-launch landing pages, and link-in-bio pages need exactly one page. Instead of building a full website builder, AJ built the best possible single-page tool.
It doesn’t do everything Webflow does, and that’s the point.
How does Carrd work?
Carrd’s editor is a single-canvas drag-and-drop builder. Every template is a responsive single-page layout with sections — hero, features, about, contact, CTA. You customize text, images, colors, and fonts in the canvas, and the live preview updates instantly on mobile and desktop simultaneously.
