What does each Acuity plan include?

Starter ($16 a month billed annually) includes 1 calendar, payments and deposits through Stripe, Square, PayPal or Venmo, confirmation, reminder and follow-up emails, custom client intake forms and automatic time zone conversion. Every plan includes unlimited services and appointments, client self-scheduling, Google Meet, Zoom and GoToMeeting, and your logo and brand colors on the scheduler.

Standard ($27 a month billed annually) raises the limit to 6 calendars and adds text message reminders, an appointment waitlist, appointment packages (including payment plans), subscriptions, memberships and gift certificates.

Premium ($55 a month billed annually) raises the limit to 36 calendars and adds the AI Booking Assistant, a signed BAA for HIPAA compliance, removal of the “Powered by Acuity Scheduling” footer, multiple time zones for staff and locations, and custom API and CSS.

Acuity uses calendars as separate calendars per employee or location, so the calendar count is the real plan limit for a team. All plans include the mobile admin app.

Cal.com1 userTeams, $12/user/mo

From each vendor’s pricing page, fetched October 17, 2026.

Acuity costs more for one person, but it is priced per plan with a calendar allowance, not per seat. Calendly and Cal.com are built for booking meetings; Acuity is built for selling appointments, with payments on every plan and packages, memberships and gift certificates on Standard. Compare the other two on Cal.com vs Calendly, see Calendly pricing, or browse the scheduling category.

Is Acuity Scheduling worth paying for?

Pick Starter if you are a solo practitioner who takes paid bookings: $16 a month billed annually gets payments, intake forms and email reminders on 1 calendar. Pick Standard, the right plan for most service businesses, if you have up to 6 staff or locations, need text reminders, or sell packages, memberships or gift certificates. Pick Premium only if you need a HIPAA BAA, more than 6 calendars, the AI Booking Assistant or custom CSS. Skip Acuity if you book meetings rather than sell appointments: Cal.com and Calendly both have free plans.
